Dr. Gerry Sotomayor is an experienced gynecologist who has been in practice for more than 35 years in Norcross, GA. At Gynecology and Cosmetic Surgery Center of Atlanta, he provides comprehensive gynecologic care and cosmetic enhancement treatments for adults of all ages. Dr. Sotomayor offers a holistic treatment approach to address reproductive and sexual health problems. Some of his available services include well-woman exams, infertility treatments, hormone management, sexual dysfunction treatment, natural family planning, treatment for endometriosis, liposuction, and ThermiSmooth®. He is an expert in cutting-edge gynecology surgeries, as well as body contouring procedures, nonsurgical vaginal rejuvenation, and cellulite reduction treatments. Dr. Sotomayor takes a compassionate approach and aims to restore his patients' faith in medicine through personalized, holistic care.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Dr. Sotomayor earned his bachelor's degree from Universidad de Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico, followed by attending medical school at Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine in Bayamòn, Puerto Rico. To further his medical training, he pursued a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Summa Health System in Cleveland and Akron, OH. During his last year of residency, he had the honor of serving as chief resident. Over the years, he has received numerous accolades and awards for his medical expertise and excellent care, including being named among Marquis Who's Who Top Doctors.
