Several reasons have kept me from writing my review of Dr. Gerry Sotomayor, and Gynecology and Cosmetic Surgery Center of Atlanta before today; my liposuction was performed on May 23, 2023. The procedure was scheduled about a month before the date (all done long-distance); written pre-op instructions were provided to me by the very able office staff, which I followed to the letter so as to ensure ideal results. My experience during the day of the procedure was beyond spectacular! I was treated like royalty before, during and after the procedure, and I walked out of the clinic with a new lease on life – I felt great, experienced minor discomfort for a few days, but overall I was thrilled!!!However, this was only the first part of the “journey” — the rest of the story would unfold as time progressed, because Dr. Sotomayor explained that it would take my body approximately 4-6 months to find its “new normal,” once so much belly fat was removed. I followed the strict rules about post-op massages and wearing a very tight girdle (for over 6 months), and during the entire recuperation period, my life continued its course, with every day feeling better and better.Bottom line – this was the best thing I could have done for myself; I am extremely elated with the final outcome; I was extremely amazed by the results of Dr. Sotomayor’s “angelic hands,” and I highly recommend this procedure to anyone who is tired of fighting a losing batter, especially knowing that the war can be won!!! I love my new body and Dr. Gerry Sotomayor – thank you so much!!!
Staff is very nice but I only seen the doc in passing, I had several complications after my procedure and the doc that I was told would do the procedure wasn’t there until the very end. It was a lady that performed the procedure. Takes way more than 48 hours to recover, you literally have drainage tunes and blood coming out of your body. I developed a hemangioma in my stomach and was rushed to the hospital about 2 months after my procedure. Oh I forgot to mention, I felt the scapula the entire time of the procedure. Felt like my ribs and stomach was on fire. Ladies, it’s not worth it, embrace your beauty. I can’t even begin to tell yall how I thought I wasn’t gonna make it out of there alive. This is my testimony, take the advice and advice run. Stay blessed

This place is amazing. Dr Sotomayor, Juliette and the entire staff make you feel so at home. I got my procedure done 5/23/22 and I am super happy with my results so far. Unlike other consultations Juliette took her time going over the entire area of need and she identified a critical area that they needed to be careful with that other places didn’t identify – something that would’ve been possibly critical for my health. That alone confirms to me that my intuition led me to the right place. Their rates are also what they say it is and very affordable for what I wanted done. There is no bait advertising going on. I must mention Dr. V, the genius who performed the work. Please at least go to them for a consultation to see for yourself what a wonderful place this is.
I had my stomach, flanks and Bra fat removed. It was done under twilight sedation. When I tell you they were A1 from Day 1. I traveled from another state for a groupon I purchased. They are truly the best. From the front desk to their awesome Doctor. I couldn’t be more happier. Mind you I had this done before 10 plus years ago from a local Doctor in my area. The experience doesn’t even compare. I got my hourglass shape back at 50 . Iam very very very pleased!!!!!
I went in for a consultation for liposuction and They answered all questions honestly and are very welcoming nice people and made me feel so comfortable with choosing them that I paid my deposit and have my liposuction set up for next week! There office is very professional but the staff are down to earth and talk to you Like you’re a friend they’ve known for years and I love that! The doctor is also very heart warming and welcoming! I can’t wait for my procedure next week! If I can update this after my procedure I will!
